How much would 100 ft. of wood fence vs. vinyl coated chain link fence cost? which should i pick?

I'm trying to decide what type of fence to put up. Given, wood fences look better and offer more privacy but are obviously more expensive. I like the look of the black vinyl coated chain link fence.

I have no idea about pricing, but if I were in the market, I'd be thinking about maintenance costs and work involved in the future. If I planned on staying in the house for a long time, I would not want to be painting/staining a fence or replacing boards too often. My decision would probably be vinyl coated chain link, even though the initial cost would probably be more, I guess I'd try to factor in future maintenance costs for a good comparison.
