New guitarist looking for help.... with amplifier easy 10 points for you?
So i'm getting an electric guitar next week no idea what kind it has a small wrist and it's red it cost $99 at guitar center i'm getting it as a confirmation present form my dad because my mom dosen't know about it. So my dad only gets it if my karaoke machine will work as an amplifier i have an optimus karaoke machine 30 watts and it say stuff on the back so i'll buy the cable and stuff so where the microphone usualyy goes the guitar will be plugged in there. Just i need to know if it'll work with the guitar if it dosen't and i tell my dad it does i'm in big trouble and he won't buy me an amplifier unless i go save up my own money and buy one of those mini ones but i vould live with that. Please help will the karaoke machine work as an amplifier? Thank you sooooo much. Oh yeah and if u do get the 10 points how do i give them to u? tehehehhe
The mic input on the Karaoke machine may work but you will need to try it. A guitar puts out more signal than a mic so it may cause distortion and sound bad but it actually may sound OK.
