Parking Stops for Parking Lots
Building a parking lot with parking stops will assure that traffic will not allow autos to cross the parking lot in an unsafe way, and keep the flow of traffic moving in the appropriate manner. The parking stops can add to the attraction of the lot, especially if they are made of recycled plastic. Using this type of material on a lot is beneficial because it does not ever fade from UV rays and is resistant to fuels, oils and other substances that may come from automobiles or the people using them. The design of the parking lot can incorporate the stops to make it up to standards by the city or development in which it is located.

An effective parking lot will have a plan before it is built to assure proper run-off of rain and melting snow and also to accommodate the number of cars that need to be parked in it. Reducing the amount of paved surface area in often a goal which can occur with a range of parking space options allowed by a municipality, reducing the stall dimensions so that there are allowances for a percentage of space designated for compact car parking, and promoting shared lots that utilize the lot during the day (as in an office building) and in the evening (restaurant). One doesn't typically think of landscaping for a parking lot, yet when it is built into it, it may allow for better overall benefits for the lot owner and the people parking there. A few trees will offer shade for the autos, and make it more comfortable during the summer months, the deep roots of the trees and plants will allow for rain absorption, and using native vegetation will create a wildlife habitat and a more aesthetically pleasing environment.

What is the best way to get it across to SOME people what the words SOME, A LOT OF, NOT ALL mean?
I just answered a question from a lady on second hand smoke. Not once in the question did she say ALL smokers do what it was she was complaining about. She said A LOT OF smokers that she's seen.
You should have seen the answers she got telling her she was being judgemental - that this person or that person does not do this and is not a selfish smoker. What a laugh. Can't they read? I wonder if it's guilt that makes them so quick to jump on the band wagon defending themselves even when they, the non-selfish ones supposedly, have not been criticized in any way.
Myself, I've taken to capitalizing SOME, NOT ALL and other descriptive words as I'm sick of getting answers from people on bandboxes.

Sweeping generalizations, while often inaccurate, do get the most attention. I don’t recommend using all-caps as an answer, as that technique is referred to as “shouting” in the parlance of “internet speak.” As a writer, you need to assume your readers can understand what you are saying without distracting them by reverting to such techniques. If they don’t get it, then rethink the way you are presenting yourself or just chalk it up to their refusal to read.
