I have a bad paint smell?
I have an old five gallon pail of interior primer that is about one year old and half full. I just opened it to start a new project and it smells like a sewer. Can paint spoil? And can I get rid of this odor before using it or should I just discard and buy new?
Hi Don' use it, lose it its always best to put any paint left in a larger tin into a smaller tin when you have finished the job, then you should be able to use the remainder for a another project for up to two years. The main problem with modern primer paints is that they are cheap and nasty, unless you get a good one from a good paint merchant..
