Digital art media?
Other than photoshop, Corel painter, ultra fractal, painter 7.... what are any other software specially for painting/drawing. I'm trying to explore other software to enhance my art.
(I think the people above have no clue: Autocad is for technical design and Flash is for web animation. None of them is specifically designed for painting or drawing).
I've heard some good reviews about ArtRage. Some say it beats Painter in some areas. By the way, Painter 7 and Corel Painter is the same software. Painter was bought from Fractal by Corel before the release of version 7, but was marketed as owned by a company named ProCreate. The latest version is number X. In my opinion, it is one heckuva good painting software. Regarding artistic painting, beats Photoshop completely.
If you haven't already, do yourself a favor and buy a graphic tablet. Painting without one is like drawing with bricks.
