Would I need `sprayable` fence/shed treatment?

If I were to buy a hand operated sprayer {pump type} would it only spray `sprayable` wood protection or could I use the ordinary type timber prtection, watered down a touch?

Don't buy as they lower the price of the sprayer,but you are restricted to using their expensive woodstain as others clog up.if you water down,than woodstain will not effectively do it's job.Handsprayers clog up easily and need several coats as it goes on very thin.
Buy the very cheapest woodstain in as larger container as it comes.Open it up and instead of using a brush use a SOFT hand brush (as in dustpan and brush)dip it into the woodstain and spread across panel,It's less effort on the wrist than brush and the softness means the woodstain spreads easily into difficult niches
