How much to paint car trunk?

How much would it cost to get just the trunk of a 1999 (black) bmw 528i repainted? I know I have to bring it in to get an estimate but I'm just looking for a ballpark figure based on anyone who has gotten a similar paint job before.
wow, if a body shop didn't have the ability to match factory colors then maybe they should not be in that business. especially when the car color is black!!!

No place is going to paint just the trunk itself. They would worry that it would not match the body parts near it and would want to paint them also. BY the time they have masked off what they don't paint, stirred up the correct color, sprayed, dried, clearcoated, dried, and buffed up anything that isn't quite right you are approaching $1000.
